Its location is great and unbeatable, close to the centre of the town, the Town Hall and the hill. The building is really clean and the rooms are well-appointed with a fair amount of storage space and storage space.

Couple getaway done right
The staff were friendly and even set us a table when we brought our fish and chips back from the pub, just like they were our own personal waiters.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly, it felt justifiable.

The Crown was a good stay. I loved the historic decor with wooden paneling and real ales on tap. The atmosphere felt cozy, especially by the roaring fire. The full English breakfast? Absolutely superb! My room was spacious and clean, complete with a comfortable bed. The shower room could have used better lighting for when getting ready. Staff were attentive, helping with our requests. The location is excellent, right in the center, made exploring easy. Only downside? It was a bit noisy in the morning since my room faced the street. The overall charm kept me happy.

What a lovely stay! The English breakfast was scrumptious, and we enjoyed relaxing by the cozy fireplace after a day of exploring. Just a tiny thing, the bathroom could really use some hooks for hanging towels, but it didn't spoil our fun at all! 😊

Hidden gem with a cozy vibe!
This place may not look like much from outside, but inside? Wow! Those rustic beams are awesome and the carpets are so rich. The locals are super friendly too. My room was comfy, and I loved the breakfast. Just wish the parking was a bit easier, but still worth it for the charm!

An convenient location for meeting up with local friends. The parking was easy to access, made everything hassle-free. Loved the thoughtful touch of having fresh bedlinen and towels, along with tasty breakfast options like good quality fruit juice and cooked items presented in individual dishes. The twin room felt a bit cramped for the stay and could benefit from more space. Late-night access arrangements were somewhat unclear and could use improvement.
